Each artist will present a four-week programme. These programmes overlap, giving participants a new activity every week; the programme concludes in June.
Week 1: One of the Make, Do & Friends artists posts an activity on the blog site.
Week 2: Deadline for responses from participants
Week 3: The artist will post a new artwork, created using work submitted by participants
Week 4: The artist will reflect on the work and suggest ways of developing it further.
Dean Parkin, a poet and maker-of-things-with-words, invites you to create a ‘photograph with words’ of your favourite place or view in your village.
Jacquie Campell, is a visual artist interested in people and how they fit in with their surroundings, and will be inviting us to creatively record what’s growing on our personal patch of earth.
Photographer Gillian Allard will be helping participants to produce a collage of favourite views and objects.
Create a dramatic monologue about a local character with theatre maker and natural voice choir leader, Lynn Whitehead.
